The 71st Independence Day of our country was celebrated with much  ado in the premises of Vishwajyot High school on 15th August, 2017. Right from the welcome area which was adorned with decorative tricolour rangoli to the splendid backdrop on dais every aspect spoke volumes of the meticulous planning behind the celebration of this event in school. The first prize winners of the Public Speaking Competition held on August 12th, 2017 rendered thoughtful and heart warming talks and poems on the spirit of Patriotism and true meaning of Independence. On this event, as is the custom of the school the grade 10th academic topper of 2016-17 Master Eashaan Nayak was invited and felicitated as the Chief Guest and was given the honour to hoist the tricolour amidst the presence of the Director, Principal and Vice Principal of the school. In his address to the audience, the Principal inspired the students and the teachers to work harder and raise the bar higher for themselves thereby working towards the path of making the country super power in the years to come. The day was made memorable through the melodious renditions of patriotic songs by school choir and teachers.
