At Vishwajyot, we believe that discovery is essential to learning. Our purpose is to help children discover the extraordinary within themselves and in the world around them. We do this by personalizing learning for every child and catering to their unique needs.
No two children are the same – then why should they learn at the same pace?
Our personalised programs for learning Math and English ensure that no child is left behind or getting bored in class. This leads to better engagement and higher learning outcomes.
Discovery Through Learning by Doing
Learning by doing – is a method that banks on the experiences of a child. That is exactly how humans learn. The idea is to go from concrete experiences to abstract concepts.
Discovery Through Exposure
A multitude of activities are integrated into the curriculum and allow students to explore their interests, broaden their perspectives, and gain essential life skills
Discovery Through Imagination & Fantasy
In the younger grades, children are provided various opportunities to learn through stories, Imagination, and fantasy. This helps in building creative confidence and communication skills and sets them up for success for their entire schooling life.
Discovery Through Immersive Spaces
Children learn best when they do, then why have classes that are designed to just passively listen. Classrooms at Vishwajyot are built with a purpose to learn more actively. The set-up is large and flexible allowing students to move and explore freely with a plethora of subject specific material available to them.

Every preschool has an attached play area with a lush green ground, trees and mud which brings nature right into the classroom. This makes learning and playing an essential part of everyday life, for preschoolers.
What kind of a playground is it, if it doesn’t have a cricket net for practice. Vishwajyot has cricket nets installed in the school playground for all the budding cricketers to help them hone their skills.
Basketball facilities at Vishwajyot have produced numerous gems over the years. Our basketball team regularly participates in various district level competitions and has won accolades up to district level many times.
We believe that a learning environment needs ample space, light, and the opportunity to commune with nature. The courtyard at Vishwajyot, known as the Green Heart, creates a soothing, serene and calm environment that cultivates learning.
Weaving, knitting and stitching are some of the activities that our students do at school. Right from a simple spool for knitting basic patterns to mechanical handlooms for creating complex designs, our students get a rich exposure during their handicraft projects.
Our clay and pottery room is like a meditative space. Equipped with modern pottery wheels and other clay work tools, it provides our students an opportunity to connect with the Earth. Working with clay is known to have a soothing effect on a child’s mind. Therefore the room is designed to give students a much-needed respite.
This is the most recent and exciting installation in our infrastructure. Students of grade 1 use this hanging circular net for recreation. This is installed right in front of their classrooms and our students just wait to come out and play. It improves their agility, attention span, and coordination.

Alumni Speaks
To me Vishwajyot was not just an ordinary school where I went to study and felt relieved to hear the last bell, rather a second home where I enjoyed every second spent. The school always encouraged me to be confident and share my views and ideas, be it with my classmates or my principal. Being a student from the very first year the school opened its gates, I have had the opportunity to not only experience my own growth as I graduated from one class to another, but also see the school grow with me, not just by number of floors or classrooms but being able to give me new experiences each and every year.

Vishwajyot for me is a big experiment lab, where I got an opportunity to experiment with a whole lot of new things. I was introduced to innovative learning techniques combined with traditional teaching. During my time at Vishwajyot, I got an apportunity to play some competitive sports. People usually undermine sports but it has by far played a very important role in my overall development. It helped me build my self-confidence, grit and perseverance. These skills developed at Vishwajyot helped me in my studies and are now helping me in my career as well.

I was one of the students in the first outgoing batch of Vishwajyot High School and I am very proud of this. To me one of the best part of Vishwajyot was the library, I enjoyed reading there. Vishwajyot helped inculcate values in me that form who I am as a person today and I am very glad to have had this opportunity

At Vishwajyot a non-learner could be transformed into a lifelong learner one engaging lesson at a time.
I experienced first hand how a child's life could be transformed by providing the quality education that every single child deserves because I am a transformed child. My teachers always encouraged my creativity and curiosity. My teachers identified a leader in me and gave me the motivation to discover it myself. The education that I received at Vishwajyot motivated me to be an amazing educator for the kids I teach now.

I don't believe a person can only be an introvert or an extrovert. I believe there's a spectrum dependent on the time, place and people, and Vishwajyot has allowed me to explore and identify these. I wrote my first story while in school, encouraged by a crowd of cheerleaders, and that's led to the formation of who I am. Vishwajyot built in me a curiosity for life through their curious ways of teaching, and a love for learning beyond the syllabus

Moving from a state board school to an ICSE was not easy for me. I was a shy and average student who was lost between 70 students in a class. What Vishwajyot High School taught me was the balance between academic learning and extracurricular activities. Communicating and interacting with the teachers was never this easy. Vishwajyot has made me the confident person I am today. The thing I miss the most about school is learning English and Mathematics outside our class on grounds. I wish to go back to those times when learning was so fun!

I am very fortunate to have studied at Vishwajyot. Vishwajyot provided me an environment conducive to self-expression with our teachers being a constant source of encouragement, helping us endeavour to reach our full potential. Appa Sir rekindled my lost love for mathematics. I am very grateful to him for tirelessly explaining difficult concepts for hours together and introducing me to the ingenuous techniques of Vedic Maths. The holistic approach to education helped shape our personalities, with ample exposure to sports, yoga, meditation, nature-trails, aesthetics, cultural activities and innovative academics
Both boards are Indian. Yes there is a common misconception that ICSE is a foreign board, but it is very much an Indian board. CBSE is preferred by people with transferable jobs. But lately ICSE is also being offered very commonly across all major cities. Curriculum and exposure wise – Both boards are equally intensive. CBSE has a bias towards Science and Math but ICSE gives equal weightage to humanities too. Also in higher grades ICSE has more subject options to choose from
2. How is your curriculum different from other schools?
Our pedagogy is child centric hence involves a lot of hands-on, student led learning. To suit this style of teaching, most of our curricular content has been specially designed by an internal team of experts. Our curriculum is served in bite size pieces as opposed to large chunks. With the curriculum broken down into small levels, children find it easier to take the next step. The curriculum is Mastery based where a child attempts to learn a higher level only when the previous level is mastered. Another differentiator is that our curriculum is mainly inquiry based. Knowledge building begins with a question or a situation. As students work through these questions, they carve their own understanding. Their curiosity drives more questions and deeper understanding.
3. Will my child be able to adapt when we transfer and move to some other location?
Our curriculum combines best practices from major boards across the country, like CBSE / ICSE etc. Since concepts are covered in a holistic manner, it builds a strong foundation for the child. Thus allowing them to take up any of the boards as they go ahead. While our school is ICSE itself, this unified curriculum ensures there is an option for the child to move to CBSE if required Moreover, Personalization has been designed to make students more adaptable by inculcating a love for learning. What it means is, when children have been given enough practice, they build a strong foundation and they love the process of learning. This makes them ready to adapt to any other system of learning. Also our data shows that 90% of our students are at par or above their counterparts from other boards/curriculums.
4. What other activities are offered at the school?
We offer a wide range of activities to ensure holistic development as a part of the regular school schedule. These include numerous team and individual sports, creative pursuits in our handwork, weaving, and pottery subjects, and artistic exploration in our art program. Additionally, students engage in music, dance, and drama, alongside technology-based learning in our iPad Lab.
5. School has so many activities then how do the students manage the main curriculum?
All of these activities are integrated with the curriculum. It never happens that children do an activity that does not relate to the curriculum. So every activity is a step ahead in the curriculum. These two go hand in hand at Vishwajyot.
6. What facilities are available on campus?
Vishwajyot High School offers a range of modern and well-designed facilities to ensure a conducive learning environment and holistic development for our students. These include: Lush green campus, Sports facilities, Immersive classrooms, Art and Clay Studios, Music and Dance rooms, Handwork and weaving room, Fully equipped science labs, Library, Computer lab, iPad lab and much more.
7. What is the admission process, and how can I apply?
The admission process at Vishwajyot High School is straightforward and designed to ensure the right fit for both students and the school. Interested parents can apply by filling out the online application form available on our website. After the form submission, the school conducts an interaction session with the child and parents to understand the child’s learning needs and aspirations. Once the interaction is complete and the application is reviewed, admission offers are made.
8. When does the academic year begin and end?
Our academic year typically begins in June and concludes in March, following a structured schedule that includes regular breaks for festivals, holidays, and seasonal changes. This schedule ensures ample time for both academic progress and extracurricular engagement.
9. Are there any entrance tests for admissions?
Vishwajyot High School does not conduct traditional entrance exams for admission. Instead, we focus on a holistic interaction process to understand the child’s interests, learning pace, and how best we can get the child onboarded into our learning environment.
10.What safety measures are in place for students?
The safety and well-being of our students are top priorities. Vishwajyot implements a range of safety measures including:
• CCTV surveillance across the campus for continuous monitoring.
• Trained staff for first aid and emergency response.
• Regular drills for fire, earthquake, and other emergencies.
• Strict entry/exit protocols to ensure the security of students and staff. • Child-friendly infrastructure designed with safety in mind.
